Please pray for Peace in Sudan

Since 1983, more than two million Christian people have died in Southern Sudan as the result of Sudan's tragic ethnic cleansing.  Over four million have been displaced.  In the western region of Sudan, a million people are fleeing attacks by militia.  Over one hundred thousand women and children have fled to neighboring Chad.

Please pray for these people that peach may come to their land.

We will meet at noon on Tuesday, December 15, for a catered lunch, cost $5.50.  Please make your reservations by calling Dorothy Matthes at 496-1362 by Friday, December 10.  A group of children from Jackson School will present a program of songs for us.  Members who are able please bring two dozen cookies so that we can prepare cookies for our shut-ins.

There have been no Funeral Planners turned into the church.  We hope that you have filled them out and have let someone know what arrangements you will want made.  Having a copy in your file at church would simplify the process for your loved ones.  If you need a copy call 345-7506 and we will get one to you.

Accident forms have been used in the office thanks to the clumsiness of Lois Knutzen.  These are to be filled out whenever an accident occurs on church property.  As Lois can tell you, the form is just as painful as the fall but necessary.
