Prayer is defined as a noun, the part of speech that is used to name a person, place, thing, quality, or action and can function as the subject or object of a verb, the object of a preposition, or an appositive. Here at First Lutheran, we are concentrating on prayer during our Lenten journey. We have purposed to make prayer an action verb, the part of speech that expresses existence, action, or occurrence. It is our belief that prayer expresses the existence of the Almighty, a God of action, and the author of all that occurs. Journey with us this Lenten season as we explore different ways to commune with God. Our Lenten worship services are held on Wednesday evenings with a shared meal at 6:00 pm and worship at 7:00 pm.
