Project Embrace is a summer program for youth age five through grade six that provides supervised opportunities for children of the community to experience field trips and activities in a Christ-centered environment. During the program, they swim, go to the zoo, visit museums, and take part in a variety of other activities.

The Omaha Community Playhouse brings experiences to Project Embrace participants not only in the performing aspect of theater, but in the back stage and costume design areas. Varied musical opportunities are provided as well, and participants experience a Field Day with Augustana Lutheran Church. Lunch is also provided each day.

Project Embrace is an excellent opportunity for anyone who enjoys working with children to get involved as a volunteer. For more information on Project Embrace, please contact Luba Carlson at Luba.Carlson@firstlutheranomaha.org.
