WORDS OF MARTIN LUTHER

We must establish a strong and durable bond of love with other Christians that will keep us united.  When we come before God in prayer, we shouldn't be   divided into various splinter groups.  Instead, we should be guided by love,   tolerate differences of opinion, and preserve unity.

(Submitted for MICROPHONE by Dick Sieling.  Join Dick on Wednesdays at 1:00 in the Fireside Room for Bible Study.)

Rehearsals for Bells will be on Sundays 11:45am to 12:15 pm

If you have a computer and you use any of the search sites here is a suggestion for you.  If you use a search site called goodsearch.com, one cent per “click” can go to the organization of your choice per search.  For example, Lutheran Family Services or NE Synod ELCA could receive one cent for every time you search for information on your computer.  To use this tool, go to www.goodsearch.com.  You will see a place to choose your organization to support.  You can choose one each time or continue to support the same one each time.  Your choice.  This is an opportunity for someone else to receive benefits from your use of a common tool on the computer.  Check it out then let your searches help others.

Turn your HyVee receipts into dollars for Uta Halee Girls Village.  HyVee will donate $1 for every $200 spent.  Please bring your labels to the office or give them to Anna Marie Scheel so they can be forwarded to Uta Halee.  This program runs Sept. 10 to Dec. 31, 2007, and all Omaha and Council Bluffs locations will be  participating.
