The Church Council has general oversight of the life and activities of the congregation, and in particular its worship life, ensuring that everything is done in accordance with the Word of God and the faith and practice of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America.
The Church Council also serves as the board of directors of the congregation and is responsible for maintaining and protecting its property and the management of its business and fiscal affairs.
