Open Doors

Our vision is to build a community for Christ within the greater Omaha area in which all are welcome - a place where all individuals and families can grow and flourish in faith and discover God’s plan for their lives.

FLC Clothes Closet

Out with the old, in with the new!  Get your winter housecleaning done.  FLC is rotating their Clothes Closet to make room for Winter clothing and accessories.  Items needed include men’s shirts, t-shirts, pants, jackets, and children’s clothing.  Gently used coats, hats, mittens, scarfs and gloves, too! We also are in need of plastic and brown paper bags.  Bring in what you can to help those in need!

If you are in need of a sense of peace or guidance in your rushed life and our office is not open, please know we are here for you through our Dial-a-Meditation service at 402-345-1555.

Living in the presence

Living in the presence

Living in the presence

From the Liturgical Worship led by the Liturgical Choir and the pipe organ to the Praise Worship led by the Worship Band, each service proclaims the Good News of Christ. Come and experience God as we journey together towards the love, grace, mercy, and justice found in the living Christ!

Every Sunday morning we are blessed with a wonderful breakfast prepared by our resident chefs. This is a time in which we are able to share a meal and re-connect with our brothers and sisters. At First Lutheran, our mission is to feed the body and the spirit.

  • 8:30 am - Liturgical Worship
  • 9:15 am - Breakfast
  • 10:00 am - Christian Education
  • 11:00 am - Praise Worship

We are pleased to offer this ancient spiritual tool to the community. The labyrinth is a mystical tool that can help bring about personal transformation and a shift in consciousness. It is meant to awaken us to the deep rhythm that unites us to ourselves and to the Light that calls from within.
Physically, a labyrinth is a unicursal design having a single pathway which, after a number of twists and turns, arrives at the center of the design. A maze, on the other hand, is designed to be confusing and multi-cursal, having multiple pathways and dead ends. We invite all traditions to discover much abundance, wholeness, and creativity on the Labyrinth.
